Victorian Summer Party

Rotary Jail Museum

Mark your calendars to join the Rotary Jail Museum as we celebrate a Victorian Summer Party on Sunday, September 18th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the museum grounds. Children can make Victorian styled crafts, including a greeting card with quilt motif. Families can participate in parlor games and lawn croquet. Refreshments will be available for sale. A costumed interpreter will lead a special family tour of the jail and sheriff’s residence at 1:30 and 2:30. Inside the sheriff’s residence, Victorian dresses and accessories, including gloves and hats will be on display. Activities are free. Standard admission fees for a rotary jail tour will be charged: $3/adult, $1/child age 6-10, children under 6 are free.

National Ballet Academy of Denver Student Trainee Program

National Ballet Academy of Denver Student Trainee Program “A year-round program dedicated to producing professional dancers” Accepting Applications Now!!! For the first time in the history of Colorado the National Ballet Academy of Denver will launch a year-round International Student Trainee Program offering a four year course in classical ballet training for students between the ages of 15-20 years old and who have shown potential to become professional dancers on September 3, 2012 The Program is not only approve to enroll overseas student it offers: Renowned International Faculty, Brand New State-of-the-Art Facilities, Supervised Dormitories, and Academic Program. Trainee Program students will not only study classical ballet but other subjects such as Pas de deux, Solos, Repertoire, Character, Contemporary, Make-up, and Body Conditioning. students gain performance experience by performing with the National Ballet of Denver, and as a touring group. 
 Our goal is to provide the Trainees with experiences to help ease their transition from student to professional dancers, build confidence, and increase stage experience.
